Wilfried Coly
Wilfried Coly provides support to the Missing Migrants by collecting data on the death and disappearance of migrants in Western and Central Africa, and is based at IOM’s Regional Office in Dakar, Senegal. His work, which takes place under the general supervision of the Missing Migrants Project Coordinator for GMDAC, and under the direct supervision of the Regional Coordinator of the Data & Research Unit, involves reaching out to regional actors, analysis of data on deaths and disappearances along migratory routes in the West and Central Africa. Before joining IOM, Wilfried gathered 6 years of professional experience in collecting, managing databases and analysing statistics in non-profit organizations in Senegal. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics-Computer Science, a Higher Technician's Certificate in Management Computer Science and a University Diploma in Scientific Studies level 1 option Physics Chemistry.
