Mohammad Shoaib Nayel
Mohammad Shoaib Nayel currently works as an Associate Data Analyst at IOM's Global Migration Data Analysis Center (GMDAC) in Berlin. In his role, he supports the Global Migration Data Portal team in data tasks, which involve maintaining the database and dashboard of the Portal. Additionally, he will actively contribute to ongoing data analysis, summarizing and synthesizing migration data and information for the Portal.
Shoaib completed both his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from the South Asian University, India. Before joining GMDAC, he worked as a National Officer with the Protection Unit of IOM Afghanistan where he was responsible for supporting information management and analyzing protection case management and protection monitoring data. His work made significant contributions to evidence-based protection programming and enhanced his understanding and knowledge of humanitarian response and migration-related subjects.
