Dr Sarda Prasad is currently working as Assistant Professor, School of Extension and Development Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) New Delhi, India. He has completed Post Doctoral (PDF) research, on Impact of Migration on Socio-economic Status of households from CSRD, JNU, New Delhi. he had completed MPhil and PhD on ailing and hospitalization in India and on Migration Studies, CSRD/JNU, New Delhi. His main research interests are on Migration Studies, Rural Development, and Agriculture and Health Status in India especially rural areas. He has presented nearly 40 papers on various social issues in national and international conferences/seminars in India and in Abroad (Malaysia, China, and Egypt) and 31 research articles
