Social and Political Demographer, Dr. Padma Prasad Khatiwada, is a Faculty/Instructor for PhD with Coursework in Tribhuvan University. Appointed by the Government of Nepal as a Vice Chairperson of Social Welfare Council in 2020, Dr. Khatiwada has contributed as Team Leader over 100 research studies on social sciences (more than 30 on migration), presented papers in more than 100 national and international event venues. Worked for IOM as National Consultant for Nepal's Migration Profile, Dr. Khatiwada is an Advocate of 2030 Agenda for SDG (SDG 10.7)and GCM. Core Committee Member of South Asia Network, SAAPE, Dr. Khatiwada has contributed on South Asia's poverty, inequality, human rights and social justice.
