Nkiru Perpetua Duru holds a BSc in Sociology and an MA in Development Studies and an MBA. She is a highly skilled professional with experience of over 9 years in multi-disciplinary programmes, whose focus is on migration and youth engagement. She has built a strong record of achievements in migration policy advocacy in Nigeria. Nkiru’s experience greatly increased and developed working in this area as the Program & Research Manager of Centre for Youth Integrated Development (CYID). She has been involved in various targeted high-level advocacy efforts on migration in Nigeria, which led to the adaptation and implementation framework of the first National Migration Policy by the Federal Executive Council on May 13th, 2015.
