Education: Master in Statistical and Economic Sciences, Specialization in Methods and Techniques of Social Research, Ph.D. in Statistics.
Work experience: over 20 years as official statistician at Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Union, mostly on demographic, migration and projections matters. Previously independent consultant in statistics and lecturer at university in econometric/statistical topics.
