Choo Chin, Low is a senior lecturer in the History Section, School of Distance Education, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne. Her research interests include comparative citizenship, migration and diaspora studies. She was a visiting fellow at Academia Sinica and National Taiwan University (2016). She currently serves as a country expert at the Global Citizenship Observatory (GLOBALCIT), European University Institute.
