Dr. Benjamin Schraven is an independent consultant and an Associate Fellow of the German Development Institute (DIE), the Center for Development Research (University of Bonn) and the Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement (University of Cambridge). He has worked intensively on various migration related issues for - among others - the Worldbank, UNESCWA, IOM and several development cooperation agencies. Benjamin Schraven holds a PhD in development studies from the University of Bonn. His work focuses mainly on the climate-migration-nexus.
