Damien Jusselme
Damien leads the work of the “Data and Impacts Analytics” Units at IOM’s Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC) in Berlin. He also leads the analysis work of big data sources shedding light on various displacement and migration contexts and supports forecasting projects.
Prior to joining GMDAC, Damien has served as IOM’s Head of the Regional Data Hub. Since 2011, he has held multiple positions within IOM working on the Organization’s migration and displacement data in Haiti, Mali, the Central African Republic, and West and Central Africa Regional Office, and on Monitoring and Evaluation in Yemen. Damien also worked with Non-Governmental Organizations on monitoring and evaluation in Haiti and displacement data in Geneva supporting the Syria response, migrant profiles in Greece, displacement profiling in Somalia or durable solution exercises in Ukraine and Georgia.
Damien holds a Master’s degree in Economics and international project management and a Master’s degree in International Relations.
