Salma Nooh is a Data and Policy Analyst at IOM’s Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC) in Berlin. She primarily supports the work on capacity-building and migration data at GMDAC.
Prior to this position, Salma worked at GMDAC, providing support to the Secretariat of the International Data Alliance for Children on the Move (IDAC) to improve the data and statistics on migrant and displaced children. She also worked at the Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region and Europe, focusing on the environmental challenges that hinder development in the Middle East.
Salma holds a Master’s Degree in Development Economics and International Studies from Friedrich–Alexander University Erlangen–Nürnberg, and two Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the American University in Cairo where she graduated top of her class.
