Marisa Phrommanee works on Missing Migrants Project at IOM's Regional Office in Bangkok, Thailand. She leads data collection and outreach to relevant actors across the Asia-Pacific region. Marisa has worked with various IOM units and projects since 2012. This included IOM’s Counter Trafficking unit, the Regional Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) for the Bali Process Member States Project, the Community Stabilization Unit and the MiRAC-funded project Mainstreaming Accountability to Affected Populations and Protection (MAAP). Before joining IOM, Marisa worked in the fields of human rights, human trafficking and gender for several NGOs in Thailand. She holds a MA in Public Administration with two specializations in security and development from the Central European University, Budapest and a BA in International Relations from the Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. She also holds several certificates in migration courses.
