Mohamed Elsayeh is Data and Research Officer and Missing Migrants Project Focal Point at the IOM Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa in Cairo, Egypt. He is a researcher in migrant and refugee protection and held various positions at inter-governmental and non-governmental organizations. Prior to joining IOM, he worked as Research Associate and Research Officer at the Center for Migration and Refugee Studies of The American University in Cairo. Mohamed holds a Master of Law in International Human Rights from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The American University in Cairo.
