Kareem Sharaf is a data analyst for IOM’s Global Migration Data Analysis Center. Prior to joining GMDAC, Kareem worked at think tanks and foundations focused on policy in the Asia-Pacific region, including The German Marshall Fund’s Asia Program, the US-Korea Institute and Asia Policy Point.

He holds a Master of International Affairs from the Hertie School of Governance, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University and studied Asia-Pacific policy at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Public Policy.
