Strengthening the collection and use of migration data in the context of the 2030 Agenda

The United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), in collaboration with the Population Division, and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), organized a regional workshop on “Strengthening the Collection and Use of International Migration Data in the Context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, on 5-8 February 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM) was adopted in Marrakech, Mororoco, on 10 December by 165 UN Member States.
