Laura Coşkun works as a Project Officer at IOM’s Global Migration Data Analysis Centre in Berlin, supporting the management of the Migration Network Hub as a part of the capacity-building mechanism of the Global Compact for Migration. Laura is currently finalizing her PhD in Social Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science, with a focus on immigrant integration outcomes in the EU member states and EU candidate countries in Southeast Europe. She also holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland.

Prior to joining GMDAC, Laura worked as an Information Management Associate with IOM Germany, being responsible for statistical monitoring and reporting of AVRR programmes. In addition, she has worked for Eurofound in Dublin, with a research focus on social policies and quality of life in Europe, and UNDP in Istanbul, contributing to knowledge management and capacity-building initiatives.
