Thomas Sinclair joined IOM’s Global Migration Data Analysis Centre with a background in quantitative data analysis. His work focuses on data visualization both for print publications and online infographics but also extends to multivariate analysis of microdata.

Prior to his current role within IOM’s GMDAC, he worked as a freelance data scientist for international consulting firms and as a researcher at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) where he is currently submitting his master’s thesis.

Thomas is a master’s candidate at the University of Potsdam where he specializes in econometrics and quantitative analysis. He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Essex and has rowed at an international level.
