Annina’s work at IOM’s GMDAC has included organizing two workshops on key aspects of safe migration to Europe, focusing on the situation of migrants in destination, transit and origin countries. Annina also assists with the communication and production of promotional materials, including GMDAC social media, and supports the preparation of background papers, working papers and data briefs for the Department for International Development (DFID) funded Mediterranean Migration Project.

Prior to joining IOM’s Data Analysis Centre, Annina was an intern at UNDP Regional Hub in Istanbul, a trainee at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and graduated with a BA in International Relations from Syracuse University. She is currently pursuing a dual Master of Arts in Social Sciences with a focus on migration from Humboldt University in Berlin and Middle East Technical University in Ankara.
